“Feminine and polished with a hint of retro”

Structure

A little goes a long way.  Soften the edges of a sculpted pantsuit with a romantic blouse.  Sweet delicate touches like ruffles, pleating, and bows abound on beautiful chiffons and organzas.

Top those higher waisted languid trousers with a crisp white classic shirt and fitted cropped jacket.   Fall’s best jacket look?  Belted!   Supple leather cinch belts wrapped around your favorite jacket are so hip.

Need a jacket alternative?  Search out a long lean chunky or ribbed sweater coat that’s, yes, belted!  Or opt for a patent cropped trench coat.

Prints

Rock this fall.  Impressionistic florals and animal mania are must haves in tees, tanks, and tunics to top trendy dark skinny denim, sexy cords, and lean leggings. 

Drop Dead Dresses

You’ll need at least one…best bets include:

Flirty cocktail frocks that send sexy AND romantic cues
Printed sexy knits that often wrap
Chic short cottons for no brainer dressing 

Color

No mandates but plenty of neutrals with big pops of bold bright popsickle colors.  Especially purples and violets.   And citrusy yellows and greens add an edgy contrast. 

Accessories

Big and colorful.   Degradated or ombred patents and distressed metallic handbags with chunky gilded chains are newest.  But faux patent croco’s, animal prints and python skins are main stays!   Quilted totes and pleated bowlers add newness to handbag silhouettes. 

Shoes are retro, bold and sexy.  Wide ankle straps, peep toes, chunky platforms and shooties to boot balance off all those big bags and statement jewelry.  Patent and python transcend the season.
